RAMADHAN CHARITY BREAK FAST WITH RUMAH TITIAN KASEH

BUKA PUASA during the holy month of Ramadan is more meaningful if we take time to share with the less fortunate and to relive the spirit of giving according to the General Manager, Mr. Ronny Wong of Hotel Sentral Kuala Lumpur.  The hotel has hosted a Berbuka Puasa Charity Dinner where the hotel’s staff and guests get to celebrate the holy month with 50 children & adults from Rumah Titian Kaseh. Rumah Titian Kaseh was formed in 1998 to provide temporary shelter for ill-treated orphans and single mothers. The children comprising orphans and children from poor families were between 3 to 20 years old, were treated to a spread of delicious Ramadan “Berbuka Puasa” buffet spread ranging from local favorites at the hotel’s Starmint Coffee House   

Hotel Sentral’s General Manager, Mr. Wong said that “Ramadan and Syawal are always a time for celebration and much awaited by children. Treating the children to the Ramadan break fast is our way to spread the spirit of love and joy to those in needs” said Mr. Ronny. He also gave “duit raya”and raya cookies to the children.

On behalf of Hotel Sentral (KL) Sdn Bhd, the General Manager, Mr. Wong presented a cheque of RM 2000.00 to the representative from Rumah Titian Kaseh.
